Induction: Movie poster Textual Analysis

The dennotation of the poster is a film called Indiana Jones which is a picture of a man standing. the poster connotates that he looks like he is going on a mision/adventure. In the background there is fire and a giant skull which can show that there is danger in this film. the props include a gun, whip and a bag which shows he can fight and defend himself. The setting has stairs and a old dark area which the lighting is directly behind indiana jones show he is goin on an adventure. His khaki outfit shows he is an archeologist. His shirt is also ripped at the chest area and his sleeves are rolled up.

Induction: Re-creation of a movie magazine front cover

This was my first time using Photoshop so I found it confusing, also I was more use to using Micromeadia Fireworks which I found really different from photoshop as there was diffrent logos for diffrent tools. Working in layers was helpful but using the colour tools was tricky as there was diffrent tool boxes which controlled colour. I learnt diffrent how to use most of the tool in producing the page such as the marquee tool and eyedropper. I also discovered how to add shadow to text and change the size of the text to the size I want without using selecting the numbers.
